Land Rover LR4 / Discovery 4 AMK Air Suspension Compressor & Relay LR078650. This Kit Includes the Suspension Compressor, Vibration Isolators and the Compressor Relay.

The Suspension Compressor inflates or deflates the Air Spring Bags as needed. When the vehicle drops below factory height, the compressor turns on and fills the air bags.

This is a NEW AMK Compressor. Every single component is NEW and NOT Remanufactured. It Supplies Power to the Compressor. When the Compressor Overheats it can cause damage to the Relay and need replacement.

The Most Common cause for a leak in the system are old leaky Air Struts or Air Springs. LR078650, LR072539, LR044016, LR061888, LR045444, LR044034. This compressor fits all Land Rover Discovery 4 /LR4 models from chassis number 9A513325. This compressor will Upgrade any other Land Rover Discovery 4 /LR4 Models with Old Hitachi Compressor. If You are upgrading from a Hitachi Compressor, a Dealership Software Upgrade is Required, Please refer to this technical bulletin of Land Rover LTB00420 that describes the software changes.

This unit is not incorporated in the original plastic box. In the original plastic box the compressor will get destroyed. Moisture mixed with fine dust leads to a permanent wet environment. In addition, the compressor will run hot when it has the "beauty package".
